More Internship Programmes for YOU!

From my previous blog posts TIGP-IIP. Have you heard about it? and The 5 Do's of applying to International Internship Program (TIGP-IIP),  I have introduced about the International Internship Program under TIGP at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Yet, this is not the only choice you can go for. They are plenty out there! Just do some survey and working abroad is never only a dream. :D

So in this post, I will introduce some other international internship program that I have looked through before this:

1. DIPP Student Research Internships, Germany


Jointly organized by the top notch Dresden International Graduate School for Biomedicine and Bioengineering (DIGS-BB) and the prestigious International Max Planck Research School for Cell, Developmental and Systems Biology (IMPRS-CellDevoSys). 

Eligibility: Registered undergraduate (at least completed 4 semester of studies) and Master students
Duration: Maximum 3 months
Allowances: 800 Euro per month
Application deadline: 31 May

2. HKUST International Visiting Internship Student Program (IVISP), Hong Kong

  














Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) ranked 59 by Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2015/2016.

Eligibility: Registered full-time senior year undergraduate/ master student
Duration: 2 - 6 months
Allowances: HK$9000 - $10,000 per month
Application timeline:

  • Fall term (September - December): 1 April to 31 May, results announced by end of June
  • Spring term (February - May): 1 September to 31 October, results announced by end of November
Application fees: HK$450

3. OIST Research Internship, Japan
 
Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) conducts international outstanding education and research. 

Eligibility: Enrolled/recent graduate undergraduate and graduate students
Duration: 2 - 6 months, typically 10 to 12 weeks.
Allowances: 2,400 JPY per day, expected to be independently funded
Travel allowances: One direct roundtrip travel between home university and research unit

4. KAUST Visiting Student Research Internship Program (VSRP), Saudi Arabia










King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST) ranked first in world in citations per faculty, a measure of research impact.  
Eligibility: Final year undergraduate and recent graduates (Undergraduate/ Master). 
Duration: 3 - 6 months
Allowances: $800 - $1200 per month
Travel allowances: Roundtrip airfare to/ from city of departure - Jeddah
Application timeline: NA
