Q8. This question is good to differentiate A+ students from the rest, you must 1st know the gravity is -10, and then use v2 = u2 + 2as.
Q12. a tricky one, by moving the bottle deeper will increase the pressure. P = hpg
Q14. this question will test whether the student knows density of salt water is higher than water is higher than oil. therefore affects the distance.
Q25. Good question to test concept of optics.
Q26. another tricky one which you need to know clearly which is angle of incidence and which is angle of refraction, both are against the normal.

wow i correct all... sure getting that A+
ReplyDeleteI got 32/50 :-)
ReplyDeleteAre u sure 20 is D
ReplyDeleteyeap ! equilibrium !
DeleteWhats the question for 20? My paper kena ambil by my teacher lol
DeleteI got 35/50 :(
ReplyDeletepls check again the skema..! dont give wrong anwers please..
ReplyDeletei got 35/50 also quite low la how wanna get A+
ReplyDeleteGot one wrong yayyyyy :DDD
ReplyDeleteTq mr sai mun
ReplyDeleteMr Sai Mun .you are really great! Thank you
ReplyDeleteNo correct all
ReplyDeletei got 44 out of 50 :>
ReplyDeleteFor Question 20, isn't C the correct answer also? When thermal equilibrium is reached, there will be no flow of heat, right?
ReplyDeleteThere will be flow of heat between the spoon and the bowl but the NET flow of heat will be zero.
DeleteI agree w u, it is said in the book too & it sounds more scientific-ish
DeleteRight?
DeleteI chose D at first but later changed it to C :( adoiii.
Oh and I also googled it and this is what I got from Wikipedia: "Two physical systems are in thermal equilibrium if no heat flows between them when they are connected by a path permeable to heat"
DeleteI think both answers are correct :/

DeleteSource from Wiki is often unreliable, anyone can edit the content
Deletemust no net flow of heat ,is not flow of heat
DeleteNO. there'll be no net heat TRANSFER between the two bodies in contach.. not no flow of heat..
DeleteHow about no16? Isnt the speed at X is faster thus lower pressure?
ReplyDeleteQ16 the diagram is an inverted aerofoil shape. Answer is A.
DeleteDo you have the real question paper?
ReplyDeleteI left mine at school!!!! Oh my gosh!!!!! :(
number 7 is A? 25 is B? 31 is A? Explain these 3 questions please. thank you.
ReplyDeleteHave questions reveal .I ha d left it ...
ReplyDeleteSomeone can send the question through email for me? I really wan to his it , I hope someone can photo to me...thanks
ReplyDeletetzhao91@gmail.com
Is the answer for Q7 A? Why is C not acceptable:o please explain. Thanks;)
ReplyDeleteCan u?
DeleteUse pressure formula and use real life situation to describe it. If you use a finger which has a smaller area with the same amount of force will you be able to break those bricks...I think you'll break your finger first.
Delete35/50 hard to get a liao
ReplyDeleteWow...excellent!..I got 50/50
ReplyDelete35can A-??
ReplyDeleteNo.24 why not A? It stated he moves 1m away from miror?
ReplyDeleteNo.20 i think C is also acceptable right?Because it doesn't state what type of spoon they used.I ask my physics teacher and he told me that if it is no state that what type of spoon they used,so C is also acceptable. Correct me if i m wrong :)
ReplyDeleteThe textbook: 2 bodies which are in thermal equilibrium are at same temperature irrespective of shape, mass, size or type of surface.
DeleteSigh, got it wrong too. Let's just move on.. :/
if i get 32/50.......and i know how to do paper 2.....can i still get A-??
ReplyDeleteWhy is the answer for question 50 D??
ReplyDeleteWhy would a doctor wanna keep radioactive stuff for so long? Lol
DeleteHospitals use radioactive substances that have low half-life
Deletehow do we suppose to know whether the low level radioactive waste is an alpha or beta? what is actually meant by 'low level' n 'high level' ? help needed plss!!
Deleteif the half-life is short, it can decay faster and it will release no harmful daughter nuclei which will harm the people. If it release no harmful substance, so we do not need to keep it as waste
Delete47/50 omg im so happy rn :')
ReplyDeleteIt is proven that no.20 the answer is C because the material of the spoon is not stated so it can be assumed to be porcelain, plastic etc. If the ans. is D, then the spoon cannot be picked up to even drink the soup. Simple logic. ;) Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteErmm , u think spm will be so complicated? Its obvious that they want to test you the difference btween net transfer of heat flow or heat flow and they will not be in thermal equilibrium, if they do not have the same temperature
DeleteHow the heck is it proven to be C when you are only using your logic?
DeleteWho actually wait for thermal equilibrium to be reached before taking a sip?
Besides, logically speaking it is impossible for there to be no transfer of heat at all between two object...while zero net transfer of heat is possible
is that possible for me to get A if I wrong 10 ques ?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely possible... after all, 10/180 is only 5.56 mark out of 100, usually 85+ mark in spm is already enough for A+. Must do well in paper 2 and 3 though,,,
Deletetrust me , you are better than me
ReplyDeleteI got 47/50 :) Q25 , i got it right but is not sure if the answer is really B...
ReplyDeleteThe 3 questions that i got wrong is 30,36,38. lol silly me
Q44 the is B or D ?
ReplyDeleteB
DeleteI got 45 hehee.. But Q12 should be a bonus as shorten the string will decrease the depth of the bottle
ReplyDeleteincrease*
Deletebasically the bottle will be immersed deeper
i saw the past year question.. the same question like Q20 the ans is C wor
ReplyDeletecan you tell me which year?i answer also is c,if the question totally same as Q20,l can get 39/50.
Delete47/50, careless for the last 3 questions!! Oh gosh @@
ReplyDeleteCan i score A+ if p1 score 45/50 but P2 pick wrong answer for Q11?(the ans is fast train L, but i pick K) :-(
ReplyDeleteAs long as you got near perfect score for other areas, you still stand a chance for A+. For the train question, the worst case scenario is you lose all 10 marks, which I doubt u did. (10+5)/180 and u still only lose 8.3 marks out of 100...
Deletegot 48/50 !! woooot praying that I'll get at least an A if not an A+ >-<
ReplyDeletecongrats...wishing u all the best
DeleteI have a question about Q19.I pick answer B at the question because the log are not fully immerse into the water.I mean it still have a part of log is on the surface of water. It also mean that the water displace not equal to log's weight. So the buoyant force might be bigger than the weight log so that a part of log will at the water surface. The good example is the sampan. The only way for me to explain my answer is wrong is we say the weight is not the weight of log but weight of water displace.....
ReplyDeletei asking this just want to know about the physics concept and didn't mean something. Thank you....
I agree with you , I choose B too.
DeleteFloat in water (buoyant force=weight)
Float on the surface of water (buoyant force>weight)
Sink (buoyant force<weight)
The question mention that the log is float on the surface of water :)
Q 15 why not d?
ReplyDeleteno 23 should be D i dont get it why its b? can someone explain?
ReplyDeleteWhat mark should get to obtain Gred B
ReplyDeleteHi ,can anyone tell me...whether it is wrong or correct if i write point form but in complete sentence in physic paper 2 section B and section C (example : the question desribe how sea breeze happen during day time ,i answered in ponit form TT) ---
ReplyDelete- during day time ,the hot air from land rise up.
-the sea is cooler than land .
my mark will be deducted .? can someone answer me ,i very scared TTTT
U should relate specific heat capacity
Deletei got write but can in point form ,my mark will deduct by marker or straightaway get zero mark ?
Deletephysic can state in point form no problem
DeleteMarks will be divided by 2 i guess
DeleteI think Q16 should be D because velocity at X is higher than at Y so the pressure would be weaker at X than at Y. ?
ReplyDeleteit is an inverted aerofoil shape. therefore, the speed at Y is higher
DeletePlease Sir, refer here http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CA43AeSzTxA/UXLK-wmQRMI/AAAAAAAAFXY/_pG_mtwwxP8/s1600/Inverted+Aerofoil+Used+In+F1.png
Delete47/50
ReplyDeleteI HATE ME
Hello Mr. Sai Mun, do you perhaps have answers for mathematics and sejarah paper 1?
ReplyDeletemay i ask a question? For the question essay section ... the train is K or L?
ReplyDeletetrain L
Deletei get 46/50. Can is still get A+?
ReplyDeleteHeng kang wei, u win liow loh...ha ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteWhat are the marks to get at least A-?
ReplyDeleteI got 46/50
ReplyDeletey is 10 b? arent spring f and g the same lenght and diameter and as well as the material
ReplyDelete
