    1. well, if you check the f4 textbook, the only organelle that has 'found only in animal cells' description is lysosome

      Delete
    2. plant has no centrioles

      Delete
    3. That's not lysosome. Its lysozyme which is an enzyme

  3. Fiest question should be D …

  4. Q44 isn't D ? It didn't mention about fertilisation occur , just release two secondary oocyte

    2. look at the question carefully, the question say what type of twins are most likely to be produced~so i think is c :)

    2. becuz got a fish at Y,fish absorb oxygen in Y,cause low conc. of oxygen?

      Delete
    3. the fish in Y is providing CO2 for the plants to photosynthesis, otherwise how can it produce oxygen? so, i feel is A...

      Delete
    4. I put B for no 22. What i had in my mind is the fish pruses up oxygen n releases carbon dioxide. The plany uses carbon dioxide n releases oxygen. So the oxygen level is low. Isnt it correct? What do u guys think?

      Delete
    5. should be A ..the plant will use the CO2 to carry out photosynthesis..so the oxygen should be high..right?

      Delete
    6. dont forget plant also carry out respiration. so it uses up oxygen as well.

      Delete
    7. can we rear fish in a test tube in the first place? LOL

      Delete
    8. but the rate of respiration of plant is lower than photosynthesis when there has light intensity and presence of CO2..which expelled by the fish...hence I think the answer should be A? dunno??

  6. 29 confirm is A.

  13. 29 must be A right? Anyone?
Low concentration of oxygen (polluted area) = time taken for decolourise is fast/quick
High concentration of oxygen (clean area) = time taken for decolourise is slow/long
I know this from the B.O.D experiment. So the answer should be A or am I still wrong?

  14. many mistake for the answer.

  15. No.9 should be D. It mention RER not ribosome

    3. Q: Which characteristic refers to the part shown in the diagram?

I think, since it's based on the diagram, you can't tell if the surface is moist, or thin walls, or more permeable to O2. So, the ans is C

  31. 44 is D as the woman released two secondary oocyte, yes but during a menstrual cycle meaning implantation of the embryo will not occur. Thus, there will be no formation of twins.

9 should be D as it stated "diagram 1 shows organelle X with attached ribosomes" organelle X refers to the rough ER.ribosomes function to be the site of protein synthesis and the RER is to transport the protein synthesis. Thus, the answer is protein cannot be transported if RER is damage,D. Ribosomes are still suspended around the cell but RER will not be able to transport it to Golgi if it is damaged .

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Are you sure 44 is D? The question is confuse, I choose D also ,but my friends mostly choose C , the comment above said the question asked for "most likely"

      Delete
    2. A menstrual cycle is referring to the whole thing and not just the menstruation phase. There could be chances for implantation, but it's not really stated in the question.

      Delete
    3. "a menstrual cycle" means that the whole cycle..not menstruation..its obviously stated that "most likely produced",,then there is no doubt that the answer is c (^^)v

  36. What about 8? All three are saturated fat except corn oil

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. yeah, that was a stupid question i think. Coconut, margarine and butter ALL have saturated fat. But i think the quest was referring to state at room temperature. Since the rest are oils, butter should be the answer. But its not a good question IMO

      Delete
    2. i agree with him. the state of the fat. margerine usually made from plant butter from animal fats.

  37. Shouldn't question number 2 be A as one part of ileum is removed...ileum only involve in absorption and glucose is the substance that is absorbed...

  41. Hey guys, paper3 question 2..what if I use filter paper replace the cellophane tape ?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. cannot cause some of the item for the experiment is microscope to observe the dust or whatsoever. using filter paper 1) cannot capture most of the dust and the dust may flew off. You cannot observe it under the microspoce.Plus, some of the dust are not black in colour.

  42. For question 8 why the answer is A ? I thought coconut oil contain more saturated fat han butter and margerine.

    ReplyDelete
  43. For question 22 can you kindly please recheck the answer? I had chosen A for an answer, am wonderig if the answer is correct?

  44. How many wrong that can make me get A for bio?

    ReplyDelete
  45. How many max wrong that i can get A?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think the answe for question 22 sould be A....because when the light intensity increases, the rate of photosynthesis will increases too...and I don't think the fish will used up a lot of oxgen..since it produces co2 too..hence amount of O2 should be high

    ReplyDelete
  47. 49/50 if 22 is A :(

    ReplyDelete
  48. But 22 is obviously A because the present of lights allow the photolysis of water to form oxygen gas in plant. The concentrationbofboxygen should be high and CO2 should be low.

    ReplyDelete
  49. ya I agree with you :)

  50. comments for number 39. why the answer is not C. can auxin can decreased or will continue produce. Please help explain me because the question stated after few days.

    ReplyDelete
  51. why all answer wrong. so noob

    ReplyDelete
  52. The concentration of auxine is lower at the root and higher at the shoot. The higher the concentration of auxine, the more the shoot grows towards sunlight. So D makes sense. TeeHee

    The paper 3 section B, i wrote
Problem statement : Do locations P,Q and R have the same level of air pollution?
Hypothesis : Locations P, Q and R have different level of air pollution. Different places have different Air Pollution Index(API).

Is this acceptable? :( I am really worried.

Because as for me, i think my procedure is something like collect dust into three different test tube and then shake it in blue methylene solution (as a dissolved oxygen) logic ? So totally 0 markss ?? :(
