With the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results set to be released next week, we're narrowing down the problems faced by SPM students into the following 9 aspects. And... the most important is WHICH ARE THE PROBLEMS THAT YOU FACED?

#1 Choosing a Course

Selecting the best possible course for SPM students is a key decision to make, and often a CHALLENGING one. There can be intense competition for the most popular courses, and later for graduate jobs.

So, discussion is a must among parents and children to find out the best selection.

#2 Financial Problem

As a young adult they need to figure out how to pay for college, earn some spending money, and still get a good education. As the cost of tuition and housing is expensive, scholarships are investments in assisting you to pay for your educational expenses.Scholarships are a great way to pay for school - it is a funding that you don't have to pay back!

#3 Housing Problem

Debates about higher education often focus on helping students afford tuition, but overlook another important challenge many students face: how to find a secure,affordable place to live. A weak economy,shortages of affordable housing,high college costs beyond tuition alone,and insufficient financial aid can combine to create a perfect storm.

#4 Mix of Emotions About SPM Results

4 days from now, we will see the standard news coverage of teenagers crying with joy (or disappointment) over their SPM results. There will be the usual debates on whether certain subjects were easier or harder than the previous years while others attempt to analyse and dissect the students' performance according to each state or type of school

#5 How to Spent Time Wisely

The big question now is, “What’s next after SPM results?”. Should you go to university, get a job or take a year off? All of a sudden, you have all these big decision to make! There're few choices for you.
STUDY-Apply for Pre-Universities or Colleges and choose the right path of your future.
WORK-Search for part time jobs while you're still considering of your decisions.
TAKE A BREAK-Rest and maybe do something you love instead of wasting time.

#6 Lack of Ambition

Think of your most valued personality traits. Do you consider yourself creative? Intelligent? Talented? Make your positive affirmations revolve around the traits that best describe you as a person. Try on things that you're interested. When you try a lot of things, you are naturally going to fail. Don't be afraid of making mistakes or falling short. Failure is only permanent if you stop trying. Eventually,You'll find out your ambition through failures.

#7 Adaptations to New Environment

Culture shock is not quite as shocking or as sudden as most people expect. It is part of the process of learning a new culture that is called,"culture adaptations." You may experience some discomfort before you're able to function well in a new setting. This discomfort is a natural stage in the adaptation process. So be confidence to approach people around you and make new friends.

#8 Maintaining Relationships Among High Schoolmates

Be a good listener. When your friend talks to you about something that's going on in his or her life, really listen. Good relationships are built on communication, so don't ignore your friend. If your friend is involved in an activity that they care about, show your support and interest. Offer to go to their or events.

#9 Lack of Exercise

Although study life is packed with revisions, tuition and classes but exercises are needed to keep your body healthy. Even a little exercise--a brisk 20-minute each day is more than enough.
